LCF Teaching Opportunity

with Administration Duties

 

Le Club Français & El Club Español provide language clubs and PPA Cover teaching in Primary Schools and Nurseries in the Thame, Princes Risborough, High Wycombe & Beaconsfield areas. We are a part of LCF Fun Languages, who have been operating in the UK since 1985 and prioritise fun learning as a way of speeding up the acquisition process for children. In other words we make learning = fun! Our stimulating courses allow children to learn with a variety of fun songs, games, stories and interactive activities, and LCF also offers an in-school programme to provide tuition for children in the curriculum.

We are seeking ideally one person to support our small team offering French and/or Spanish Clubs and curriculum time PPA Cover in and around the above-mentioned areas. Some administrative duties are required to support the work we do and ideally you should have access to a printer but this can be discussed.

4 or 5 clubs are expected to be available per week initially but this is likely to double within a term or two.

We would prefer an experienced teacher who has previously worked with children and understands the needs of young children and with a knowledge of safeguarding.

All the resources and ready made lesson plans will be provided, so you must be prepared to follow our interactive course. Training will also be provided at no cost to you.

We require a suitable well-organised person who will enjoy delivering the sessions in a fun and interactive way.

 

 ​All teaching materials supplied and free training given.

 

We are seeking a person to support our small team which offers language clubs and PPA teaching in Primary Schools and Nurseries. ​The applicant must be:​

1. A fluent speaker of French and or Spanish,

2. Keen to work with Primary School children,

3. Have a full driving licence and access to a printer,

4. Well organised and a helpful member of our small team,

5. Prepared to follow our approved audio-lingual teaching courses,

6. Happy to support our general administration work when needed,

7. Prepared to work part-time and self-employed,

8. Able to reach schools in some or all off the following areas:
   Thame, Aylesbury Princes Risborough, High Wycombe & Beaconsfield.

Hours: Lunchtime clubs e.g. 12.15 to 13.15 and after school clubs e.g. 15.15 to 16.15.​

Days: Monday to Friday in school term time to be agreed with the schools.

Club sizes: 4 to 20 members, average 10.

4 clubs expected to be available initially but likely to double within a term or two.

Pay: £20 to £50 per hour depending on club size and experience.

​

​French or Spanish teaching for PPA cover may be available.
